our TWO GOLD "MEDAL"

wooohooo! im back :D

i really missed singapore! and the "No Smocking" sign.. why? because in europe, the air is smocky even in the airport too! people are smocking everywhere. and you know, 2nd hand smocker have a higher chance of getting cancer as compared to 1st hand smocker.alright lets talk abt the 9 days in europe (:

day of departure
haha. i was late by a few minutes. but im not the latest. cleo was the last one to reach the airport. check in the my huge lagguage and then wait to check in and board the plane.

day2
after 12 hours in the air, we finally reached amsterdam. as soon as we reached amsterdam, we had torush for the next flight to vienna.
the ride to vienna was abt 2 hours. i dont like the plane to vienna. the plane is small and has no tv! haha :D
and, had a tour in vienna. zl,cleo,annabel and i got cheated there! we bought 4 bottles of water and we end up paying 12 bottles of water. i forgot how we got to czech :D
fast forward.......
another 3 hours of bus ride to olomouch, a very beautiful town (: checked into hotel flora and my room mate was AMANDA. she's a very very very good room mate.
after we got to our room, settled down and then had to go for intensive practice all the way till 11 plus? AND, the sun sets abt 9pm? hahaha. cool right.and we ended the day..

day3
had breakfast in the hotel. OH, LOVE their breakfast. especially the cake with jam in it! yum yum (: i dont rmb what we did.. but if im not wrong, we went for a tour in olomouc.. went to churches and see many statues.. the church is really beautiful. and the church we went, is the church pope john paul II and mother teresa had went before! and some king died there too. haha. the details on and in the church is detailed and beautiful.. but too bad, was not allowed to take pics of it.
we then had lunch in the city itself. we were given abt 1 hour to eat. but half of the time was used to look for a place to eat and another quarter of the time was used to wait for the dishes to be ready. so we ended up having 5 min to finish one big plate of noodles for lunch.. indigestion..... headed back to hotel to sleep and then get ready for pactice in the evening.

day4
had breakfast again!! (:
today, we were invited to perform to sng in the opening ceremony of the festival. so, we of course had to practice really hard for it. the very first time we went to the place we were going to perform in the night, we really really screw up everything. toh was angry of course. we then had practice all the until our first performance in olomouc. after that night performances, went back to the hotel to evaluate our performance. i really hate evaluation......

day5
OUR COMPETITON! category B3- children's choirs up to 16 years of age
AND WE TOP THE CATEGORY WITH 97/100 POINTS! :D
and it was the first time i ever experience tears of joy :D
toh complimated us on yagi bushi. he said it was our BEST performance ever!

day6
SECOND COMPETITON! category D1- youth choirs up to 19 years of age.
our competition is in the early morning.. 0845am. woke up dam early like at 5plus?
OUR EFFORT PAID OFF! once again,
WE TOP THE CATEGORY WITH FULL POINTS!!! 100/100
and we were also invited to compete in the grand finals with 5 other choirs for the overall top winner of the festival in the night...
AND AND AND AND AND,
WE WERE THE SECOND out of 127 choirs!!!!!!!!!
YAY! :D
we could finally relax ourselves. the teachers treated us to ice cream after the competition :D
and we also celebrated ourselves in the hotel!! all of us had magie mee party! :D

ok here comes the interesting and SCARY part..
zl,cleo,annabel,miaomiao,edrea..... came to my room to party. we were just starting to enjoy ourselves when something happened... we had to boil water for our cup noodles, so zl borrowed this metal rod thing from oli.. and guess what.. cause we didnt really know how to use it.. and we did switch off the thing after the water boiled, that metal thnig EXPLODED!!! omg. and i was the one holding the metal thing at that time. so i was the one who had the most impact from the explosion. my black tee became white, i was kind of burnt and some things went into my eyes.. but dont worry im ok! :D my room became really really smoky.. luckily there was no fire alarm in the hotel room.
because something went into my eye, i was making myself cry, hoping that im able to cry out the thing inside my eye. and of course, it didnt work. everyone went back because it was alrd 12. i gave up on crying and went to slp at abt 2am. and thanks amanda for waiting for me till abt 1 am :D

day7
left olomouc early in the morning. took the coach and went for a educational tour in auschwitz. but on the way there, we were delayed by some passport matter. and you know why we got passprt prob? cause i really think the pple there dont like us. back to the educational tour.. went went to one of the concentration camp during the time hilter conquor the place? saw the gas chambers.. the buildings where many were tortured and killed.. the place where pple are hanged, shot.. it's kind of scary. but it was a good experience. because we were delayed we didnt get to watch the documentory on the camp. oh we had pizza for lunch :D after the tour took the coach again to krakow, another beautiful town :) checked into PTTK Wyspianski hotel.. and this time, my room mate was zl and cleo! the room we were in was really nice. just that there's no refrigerator. but the rest was okay. the room has comfy beds too :D had dinner in one of the restrauant in krakow.. had a walk in krakow after dinner and then back to our hotel to study. miss chua taught the sec 4s maths. and we even got to leanr matrices! its a easy topic.

i also found out that the teachers(miss tan, miss chua) are really really nice pple.

day8
was grounded.... why? because i forgot to bring my jacket..
so annabel and i was grounded together with ms tan. we missed the tour the rest had in krakow. but i think we were kind of lucky to not go for the tour :D we were grounded for 3 hours. so during the 3 hours, annabel and i didnt stop talking. miss tan offered us chips and choc chip cookies.
we for shopping in krakow after the rest came back from the tour! we had to shop and find out ans for quizes at the same time. everything was very rushy. didnt really buy alot of things cause things were not very affordable. shopping wasnt really pleasant. lost my temper. i think i had too little sleep. so lose my temper easily. so im really sorry for thoses who were affected by me. 对不起
had a not so nice dinner in this restrauant. i dont really like it. maybe because i was not feeling ok. but i love the desert! :D i also heard from the teacher. that meal we had was costly. haha
we left krakow at night. 11 plus. took a double storey coach to vienna. and that was the last time a bath.......

day9
reached vienna in the early morning.. i felt really dirty. cause i didnt bath... had another tour in vienna. but i think we kind of wasted our time there. we only went there to RUSH again. cause we have to be in the airport by 12 plus. toh gave us tasks again.. went to st steven church to find out ans. and i bought a rosary for my aunty :D its really EXPENSIVE! its 21SGD.. but nvm. i wont be coming to this place again and the rosary is really pretty :D so i think it's worth it. 12plus, headed for the airport.. check in our lagguages.. toh didnt take the same flight as us.. another 1 hours plus flight to amsterdam. oh, the teachers gave us 2 hours? to shop in amsterdam's airport. i only bought 2 chocolate for my parents and thats all. the rest were not really affordable. hahahaha :D board the plane to singapore at 3pm? and another 12 hours flight back home. oh, did i mention.. i nearly "died" on the plane from vienna to amsterdam and the plane from amsterdam to singapore.. i was suffering from serious headache and uneasyness... was DYING.. dinner and breakfast on the plane was horrible too. maybe because i was too "sick" to eat.
FINALLY, at around 3 plus (s'pore time) WE REACH HOME! i was so so so happy.. we were also welcomed home by erm ONE camera crew. haha. ok shall not talk abt the camera thing... embarrassing..........
went to east coast for lunch with my dad ans sis :D happy ending :D


from this tour, you can really see others true colours. hahaha. dont know la. this is what i feel. ialso found out i lose my temper really easily. HAHA! ok. shhh. i will change (:ok, i think i type too much alrd. BYE (:
